NASHVILLE 48, HOPE 21 NASHVILLE — Jakaree Gaines had nine carries for 111 yards, two receptions for 55 yards and three total touchdowns to lead Nashville, ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, to victory. Nashville Quarterback Joel Hendry was 7 for 10 for 166 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Lavonte Thomas scored on a 33-yard pass from Hendry in the first quarter and on a 30-yard reception in the second quarter. Tesean Green also scored on an 11-yard run in the second quarter. Kyler Lawrence scored on a seven-yard run in the first. Hope scored one touchdown in the third quarter on a 1-yard run from Martez Shepard. In the fourth, Javon Westmoreland scored on an 11-yard run and the team converted the two-point attempt with a completed pass from Nathan Stubber to Kenneth Thompson. Nashville led 48-0 at halftime.
